ABOUT
I am an architect turned Industrial Design Engineer with a master's degree in Integrated Product Design from the TU Delft, Faculty of Industrial Design Engineering, Netherlands.
My experience lies in product design, 3D modeling, 3D printing, functionality design, lean manufacturing, package design, biomaterials, marine conservation and design for healthcare. I am involved in projects with a tangible factor and use my rapid prototyping and manufacturing skills to satiate project requirements.
I believe design is all about solving problems by creating elegant solutions. My core values for designing products are repairability, environmental consciousness, and user empathy.
My variety of interests and skills have led me to a vast array of projects. You would notice that my projects are vastly diverse. In my tenure as an architect turned maker-space enthusiast turned industrial designer, I have dived headfirst into projects pertaining to medical support equipment, biomaterials, haptics, lighting and spatial experience.
Concept Design
Creating and visualizing concept design ideas to match unmet needs through brainstorming, sketching, 3D visualizations and low fidelity models. The concept is the germ to future product design ideas.
Embodiment+Realization
The step after finalizing a concept design is to embody it as a prototype and design the product or experience to an executable level.
High Fidelity Prototype
Prototyping not just look & feel but also the functional aspect and overall usability of the product
Virtual Reality
Especially for experience and lighting design project, I use VR environments to create more immersive experiences for the users, clients and stakeholders.
